After a Serpentine Ordeal

This indecision you have chosen Isn’t a good color on you at all Apathymay be all the rageright now But she will need a man who goes to her And tells her it’s not her fault

It’s human to feel uncertain

Pedestals can be a thrill

But if you peep behind the curtain

You will see she’s just a girl

Tying to find her way back home to the Garden

After a serpentine ordeal

That was only a tall tale

Do you dream in technicolor

About your fall from grace

force fed an entire orchard

Before you licked your plate

Go to her into the darkness

And tell her it’s not her fault

May you both find your way
