It happened on Sunday, like so many Sundays before, when husband lost his temper.
He said, “Woman don’t you treat me this way, or I’ll take my hand and bring it down across your face.”
And it happened on Sunday.
Wife didn’t know what to do. I mean, what can you do?
Her children, hiding in fear, that their father might soon come near and hurt them, like mommy.
It started with his moments of silence, then gradually turned to rage and violence,
as he removed himself further and further away from his family.
And it happened on Sunday, don’t you know.
