We’re getting ready to take our newspaper to the Democratic National Convention in Denver. I leave for the airport shortly. This is a new area for our paper, live coverage on the web. And we decided that our coverage, to be different, would have to be a gonzo approach to the ins, outs and behind the scenes happenings of the convention, through our experience. So we’re armed with portable electronics, ready to meet whomever we can and take part in whatever we can, and then beam it back to you.
This will explain my Fedora. I’m thinking I should be an old school newsman and wear it a lot this week.
And so, I’ve got my trusty camera, fedora and cell phone charger. None of which I had the last time I was in Denver. I’m heading home to the Mile High, and I am armed with technology.
